The Heart of the Pacific NW

The Beaver State

Sure, you've heard of Portland — but Oregon has so much more to it than it's most popular city. Don't get us wrong, Portland is an amazing city; a cultural hub surrounded by the Cascade Range, bisected with a river that runs through rainforest, mountains and desert on it's way to the Pacific Ocean. But Oregon's a big state, and even though it's biggest city is certainly it's most popular, there is a lot more to see if you explore a little.

98k square miles of mountains, deserts, rivers and lakes.

Most of Oregon's largest cities lie off of Interstate 5 — a main artery that runs North to South on the western part of the state. Head west of I-5 and you can see Oregon's coastal towns on historic Interstate 101. However, once you start trekking east, you'll find a high desert region that covers nearly a quarter of the state. Bend is a popular year-round destination for adventure travelers, and smaller towns pepper the state near the Malheur National Forest.

See why Oregon has been the most-moved to state for the last 5 years.

Hope you like rain!
